Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and the co-chairmen of the
Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk
Group have discussed ways to promote confidence building measures
between the sides in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
At the meeting, French mediator Bernard Fassier introduced Jacques
Faure, who succeeded him in this job, the Armenian presidential press
service told Interfax on Monday.
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, who also attended
the meeting, drew the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen’s attention to
provocative acts standing behind soldiers’ death and Azerbaijan’s
military rhetoric, the press service said.
