SCHOLARSHIPS IN STATE UNIVERSITIES ARE ESTABLISHED BY STATE STRUCTURES, MINISTER RECALLS

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan
said today that scholarships in state universities are established
by state structures.
The Minister said this commenting on the ban imposed on the cooperation
of the heads of state universities with “Gagik Tsarukyan” Fund on
granting scholarships, Mediamax reports.
“The Fund didn’t turn to the Ministry for these issues and there was
no negotiation process”, explained the Minister.
Meanwhile, Armen Ashotyan noted that the Ministry is open for
cooperation with the private sector in funding educational programs.
