The Liberal Democrat Party of Russia’s (LDPA) State Duma Faction
introduced to the Duma’s agenda a statement, whereby the Russian
tourists are advised not to go to Turkey for their vacations.
The statement reads that Turkey is a country “with a high risk hazard
to the lives, health, and properties of Russian tourists.”
The authors of this bill recall all the incidents that occurred with
the Russian tourists, including those cases that have resulted in
tourist deaths in Turkish seashores, Infox informed.
To note, 8 Russian tourists died and 167 vacationers had accidents
in Turkey, in the first eight months of this year.
This notwithstanding, Turkey remains as the most popular holiday
destination for Russian tourists.
