YEREVAN. – The Apple Corporation co-founder Steve Wozniak, who is on
two-day visit in Armenia has already managed to stand out with his
subtle humor, broad character, and even scared the hotel staff.

The famous inventor with iWoz nickname moved with Segway for a long
time in Yerevan’s Republic Square surprising the passers-by.

Wozniak said in a meeting with IT representatives that he made tricks
with hotel staff and scared them.

“I invented special equipment, which I put in suitcases and when I
press, it sounds. I find my suitcases this way. I decided to make
jokes with the hotel staff and I switched it on. They thought that
it was a bomb,” Wozniak said.

He promised to visit Armenia again as ‘he will stay Armenian partly
forever.’

Steve and Janet Wozniaks arrived to Armenia on Thursday. Wozniak will
receive the Armenian President’s 2011 Global Award for Outstanding
Contribution to Humanity through IT.
