RENOWNED FRENCH FIGURES TO CONTRIBUTE TO PHONETHON 2011

Renowned French figures, including French-Armenians, have expressed
willingness to contribute to Phonethon 2011, an annual fundraising
event organized by the Armenian Foundation of France.
According to the Foundation’s official website, Michelle Drucker,
Vincent Baguian, Patrick Fiori, Robert Geodakyan, Jackie Nersisyan,
Armen Petrosyan and Helene Segara are going to make donations to this
year’s telephone fundraising set to take place between November 17
and 20.
Every year, over 600 volunteers contact 50,000 families and French
organizations to assist the people in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
Last year’s donations topped ~@1 million.
In the past two years, the Phonethon sponsors were Helene Segara and
Andre Manukyan,. This year’s event will be sponsored by Michel Drucker.
