YEREVAN. – EU has equal approach to the South Caucasus states within
Eastern Partnership, adviser to the European People’s Party at
European Parliament Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Sylwia Kosinska
told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Cooperation with the states of European Partnership is one of the
priorities of Poland’s presidency in EU. The cooperation has always
been important for EU and we try to enlarge the initiative especially
regarding the South Caucasus. Recently a document was adopted to
state the importance of the partnership for EU,” Kosinska stated.

Bilateral relations on trade or education sphere with EU member-states
is one thing, and quite another when Poland offers it representing
the whole EU. This also promotes mutual progress between Poland and
Eastern Partnership members. Issues refer to trade, simplification
of the visa regime and facilitation of student access, incorporating
Armenia into EU education system. The agenda also includes cooperation
in energy and development of civil society, Kosinska added.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
