In the World Chess Federation’s (FIDE) current standings, Armenian
Grandmaster Levon Aronyan maintained his third ranking, with 2,802
points.
The current top-ranked grandmaster is Magnus Carlsen of Norway, with
2,826 points, who is followed by world champion Viswanathan Anand,
of India, who has 2,811 points.
