The Republican board meeting ended some time ago. The spokesman for
the Republican Party Edward Sharmazanov said the board decided to
nominate Republican Taron Margaryan for the post of mayor. The board
members unanimously voted for the deputy mayor Taron Margaryan. Taron
Margaryan is the son of the ex-prime minister Andranik Margaryan.
