PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenia lost 1,5: 2,5 to Azerbaijan in the 6th round
of the World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad 2011 going on in Izmit, Turkey.

The first game ended in Arman Mikaelyan’s loss vs. Misratdin
Iskandarov, followed by a Hovhannes Gabuzyan vs. Ulvi Bajarani tie.

Tigran Harutyunyan and Kanan Izzat ended their game in a tie; a 5-hour
clash between Karen Grigoryan and Nijat Abasov also terminated with
a draw.

After the 6th round, Armenia still retains the tournament leadership
with 17,5 points.
