RUSSIAN MFA DISAGREES WITH AZERBAIJANIS

The official representative of the Russian MFA Alexander Lukashevich
commented on the statement of the spokesman for the Azerbaijani
foreign ministry Ekcin Husseinli that the relations between Armenia
and Russia are causing instability in the region.
Lukashevich announced that he disagrees with this statement. Russia
is deeply interested in regional peace and stability. Stemming from
this approach, we have the priority to build our relations with both
Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is the motive lying under our efforts
of supporting the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, he said.
