The opposition Armenian National Congress demands Armenian President
Serzh Sargsyan’s immediate resignation, a member of the ANC, Lyudmila
Sarkisyan, said at today’s press-conference.
She also added that during the tenure of the second president Robert
Kocharyan Armenia was perceived by Russia like its outpost, which is
unacceptable for Armenia.
Unfortunately, at the time of Serzh Sargsyan’s ruling the situation
has deepened more, as today’s authorities are guiding the state in
such a way that other countries have got an impression that Armenia
is not independent at all.
“Who is an advisor of the Russian ambassador to advice us to increase
the number of the foreign language schools in Armenia? Where is our
true independence?”, – she asked.
She also added such a situation was formed in the country for the
last years. For this reason, Serzh Sargsyan and his criminal system
should leave the power, she said.
