Yerevan/Mediamax/. Russia and other OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing
countries will keep on taking measures necessary for bringing together
Yerevan’s and Baku’s positions on basic principles of the Nagorno
Karabakh settlement.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander
Lukashevich stated this during a briefing in Moscow today, Mediamax
reports.

“Negotiation is always a hard thing and one shouldn’t expect quick
and easy solutions to such a protracted conflict”, stated the diplomat.

According to him, Russia is interested in restoring stability and
security in the region more than others. As Lukashevich noted,
the settlement is quite reachable if the conflicting sides show
political will.
