WARSAW SUMMIT ADOPTS JOINT DECLARION CRUCIAL TO KARABAKH PEACE DEAL

The participants of the Eastern Partnership Summit have adopted a
joint declaration that may be have a key role in the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict settlement.

Speaking to Tert.am, Sergey Miniasyan, an expert of the Caucasus
Institute, said the document contains a clause which calls for settling
conflicts based on the norms and principles of international law,
and the decisions and documents adopted in international organizations.

He said the wording of the clause implies that all the statements
concerning the status of Karabakh (including those adopted in Astana
and L’Aquilla) have to be taken into consideration

“In that respect, the Declaration adopted in Warsaw is crucial to
