On Sept. 13, the newspaper asked high-ranking officers of Armenia’s
Ministry of Defense six questions. On receiving answers, the newspaper
was to publish an in-depth article.
However, the author was summoned to the Investigation Service of the
Ministry of Defense to give evidence as a witness in a criminal case.
The newspaper reports that a high-ranking official of one of the
ministry departments has been detained for abuse of office.
