Karabakh is established state, Azerbaijan’s claims are absurd – Armenian expert

YEREVAN. – Karabakh is an established state and Azerbaijan’s claims in
this regard get more and more absurd, military expert David Jamalyan
told a briefing on Saturday.
He argues that sooner or later the former mother country, in this case
Azerbaijan, will recognize the independence of its enclave.
`There are no other patterns for settlement of such conflicts.
However, this also implies substantial changes in ethno-political
standings of Azerbaijani society. As for today, it is not ready for
it. First, Azerbaijani society has to realize that the settlement of
the conflict in a military way is out of the question,’ said the
expert, adding that the Azerbaijani understand that in spite of
official propaganda, Armenians are not that weak.
