STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh President Bako Sahakyan held solemn
ceremony of rewarding on Thursday. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
was also present at the event.
Active participants of the Karabakh conflict, servicemen, outstanding
social-political figures, philanthropists, representatives of culture,
education and sport, journalists from Karabakh, Armenia and Diaspora
were awarded with Karabakh state reward on the occasion of the 20
years of Karabakh independence.
Karabakh president congratulated all for the memorable day. Head of
Karabakh state called September 2 the day of historical importance,
marking the day of independence of Artsakh.
Armenian President also congratulated and stated that the independence
was an important event for Armenia too. Artsakh is the pride for all
Armenians. Other high-ranking officials participated in the event
as well.
