OVER 336 THOUSAND ARMENIANS VISITED GEORGIA THIS YEAR

Over the recent seven months, 336,326 Armenian citizens visited
neighboring Georgia.
Overall 1,444,299 tourists, visited Georgia in Jan.-July 2011, a 45%
increase as compared with the last year.
481,501 visitors came from the European countries, 33% of the total
number against 39% last year, Georgia’s National Tourism Agency
informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The number of tourists from the CIS states in Jan.-July 2011 increased
by 46% (897, 616) as compared with last year.
The number of visitors from U.S. reached 15,360, from Asia 42,917,
and 958 visited Georgia from Africa.
