60 SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS INSTALLED IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN. – Around 60 busy intersections and bus stops of Yerevan are
already equipped with surveillance cameras. Mayor of Yerevan Karen
Karapetyan instructed to continue the monitoring and control
activities.
In the frameworks of Safe City concept elaborated for Yerevan, the
mayor suggested implementation of another program that would avail to
combine in one database surveillance cameras currently utilized by the
police or other agencies.
For the sake of citizen’s safety surveillance cameras are installed in
Yerevan subway as well.
