Ashkhabad will host Armenian-Turkmen intergovernmental commission on
economic cooperation

ASHKHABAD. – Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Recourses Armen
Movsisyan and Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow
discussed opportunities of long-term partnership development in trade,
economic, energy and humanitarian areas.

Armenian delegation arrived in Turkmenistan for participating in
Armenian-Turkmen intergovernmental conference on economic cooperation.

Annual goods turnover between Armenia and Turkmenistan is $20 million,
out of which $14 million share Armenian imports. Armenia mainly
exports cognac, agricultural products, cigarette, precious and
semiprecious stones and equipments. Imports are mainly textile, oil,
oil products, clothing and cotton.
