Winners of XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition announced
In Moscow, the winners of the XIV International Tchaikovsky
Competition have been announced with the award ceremony being held on
Thursday evening.
The winner of the piano competition was Russian Daniil Trifonov.
The Gold medal for the violin was not awarded to anyone and the second
place award was shared by Sergei Dogadin from (Russia) and Itamar
Zorman from (Israel).
The jury found the best cellist to be the Armenian Narek Hakhnazaryan.
