PanARMENIAN.Net – Constructive and cool approach, not emotional
statements, is needed in Karabakh issue, according to head of Artsakh
President’s press office David Babayan .

Commenting on the statement of Arabo division commander Manvel
Eghiazaryan, regarding Armenian authorities’ intention to “sell”
Artsakh to Azerbaijan Babayan wondered about the ground for this
assumption.

“We should realize that idea of Karabakh is sacred and it must not
be politicized,” said the head of Artsakh President’s press office,
adding that in Karabakh conflict Armenian community must come out in
a united front.

“In Karabakh issue we have such conception as unity, but we should
strengthen it,” he said.

According to Babayan, Artsakh’s security and independence is a
guarantee of onward development of Armenian statehood.

Babayan also undelined that Karabakh issue must be rendered more
attention in higher education Institutes and they should have a
separate subject.

Earlier Manvel Eghiazaryan told a press conference in Yerevan that
Armenian authorities are going to “sell” Artsakh to Azerbaijan. If
Armenia continues ostrich policy in Karabakh process, not a single
Armenian will remain in Artsakh in three years, according to him.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
