Nikita Simonyan apologizes to Armenian football delegation

Vice President of Russian football union Nikita Simonyan told `Mayak’
radio station the Union must apologize to Armenian team for failing to
meet them in Saint Petersburg airport.

Armenian national football team arrived in St. Petersburg to hold a
meeting with Russian team in the sidelines of Europe 2012 qualifying
games.

Nikita Simonyan says the Union pushed the Armenian team to form a
certain attitude towards them.

`It’s beyond the pale. Those, who are responsible for the reception,
will be punished. It’s quite unpleasant for us,’ Nikita Simonyan said:
`As a first Vice President, I’d like to apologize.’
