DEPUTY FM PRESENTS MECHANISMS OF DEMOCRATIC CONTROL OVER ARMENIA’S ARMED FORCES

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan received
a delegation headed by Philipp Fluri, Deputy Director of the Geneva
Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).
Kirakosyan presented the mechanisms of democratic control over
armed forces in Armenia, noting that they are gradually growing
and improving.
These mechanisms are one of the most important areas of defense
reforms, he added.
The sides also discussed expansion of cooperation with Armenia,
foreign office’s press serice informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
