On May 17, Yerevan hosted an international conference on housing
issues of Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan. The event was attended
by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, UN High Commissioner for
Refugees Antonio Guterres, as well as representatives of diplomatic
missions accredited in Armenia.

The Brazilian government provided USD 50.000 to provide the refugees,
who lost their homes during Karabakh war, with houses. It’s noteworthy
that Brazil is the only country that donated sums in the framework
of the conference. The donation was made within the framework of the
Brazilian government’s program, Brazilian Embassy in Armenia press
service reported.
