Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Patricia Flor,
Ambassador and Special Envoy for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central
Asia of the German Foreign Ministry, who is on a visit to Yerevan
to participate in consultations held between the two countries’
Foreign Ministries.

Nalbandian praised the cooperation established between Armenia and
Germany in both bilateral and multilateral format, as well as regular
dialogue, saying that the parties are willing to boost relations.

Flor noted for her part that Germany will continue taking steps to
develop relations with Armenia, while the launched consultations are
held to this end.

Armenian-German relations, Armenia-EU cooperation and negotiations
around the Association Agreement were in the focus of the meeting.

At the request of Flor, the Armenian Minister briefed on recent
processes in the Karabakh conflict settlement. Besides, the parties

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
