THE COMMEMORATION EVENT DEDICATED TO THE 96TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE TOOK PLACE IN MADRID

(Noyan Tapan – 02.05.2011) From April 24 to 30 the commemoration
events took place in Barcelona, Valencia and Alicante cities of Spain
and ended in Madrid.
On April 30, in the church of St. George the liturgy was served in
the memory of innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The attorney of the Armenian affairs in Spain Khoren Terteryan and
famous Spanish writer and journalist, the author of “Bomb” novel
dedicated to the Armenian Question Jose Antonio Guriaran made a
speech. He said that soon Spain will also recognize the Armenian
Genocide.
