Ter-Petrosyan, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia discuss Karabakh conflict

On July 30, the Armenian first President, leader of the Armenian
National Congress (ANC) Levon Ter-Petrosyan met U.S. Ambassador to
Armenia Marie L. Yovanovitch. The prospects of the Karabakh peace
process and Armenia-Turkey relations were the focus at the meeting.

Ter-Petrosyan raised issues related to the release of political
prisoners, restoration of democracy, fighting against corruption and
economic development, as well as regional policy, ANC press service
informed NEWS.am.

ANC representatives Levon Zurabyan, David Shahnazaryan, as well as
Deputy Head of U.S. diplomatic mission in Armenia Bruce Donahue and US
State Department expert Paul Stronski attended the meeting.
