Turkish film director may shoot film about Hrant Dink

Yerevan is hosting these days many outstanding personalities of the
world of cinema in the framework of the Annual Golden Apricot
international film festival. Among them is also famous Turkish film
director Semih Kaplanoglu.
His Honey has already been shown in the framework of Yerevan première program.
Kaplanoglu is known to have been a friend of Hrant Dink, the slain
Turkish-Armenian chief editor of Istanbul-based bilingual daily Agos.
Asked whether he is planning to shoot a film about Dink, Kaplanoglu
said it is possible.
“That is possible, but I have no such idea at the moment,” Kaplanoglu
told Tert.am, adding that that topic though is ‘a very sensitive one’
in Turkey.
