African plague cases recorded in Yerevan

Cases of African plague have been recorded in Armenia, Grisha Bagalyan
of the Ministry of Agriculture told Panorama.am. According to the
official the plague entered a passive phase due to hot summer climate.
`The situation is under control and due to hot weather the plague
development became more passive’.
He said the plague is still developing Tavush and Lori regions.
Alexander Alexanyan the head of checking point department of
Agriculture Ministry told Panorama.am that swine isn’t exported from
Armenia, only sausage is exported to Georgia.
