Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan: Iran does not recognize the elections
held in Nagorno Karabakh and has not sent a representative there.
The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Azerbaijan issued a
statement on the “parliamentary elections” held by Nagorno Karabakh
separatists on May 23.
The statement sent to APA by the embassy says: “The Islamic Republic
of Iran does not recognize the parliamentary elections held in Nagorno
Karabakh and has not sent a representative there in connection with
the elections.”
