ARMENIA
Following the alarming events that shook the nation
Armenian, the FRA in Armenia proceeded with the establishment of a
platform, aiming to reaffirm the orientation
state and national of the country, the improvement of the process of
democratization, socio-economic development and finally
anticipation of the next elections. The platform is focused on three fundamental areas:
national, socio-economic and domestic policy. NATIONAL PROBLEMS-EXTERNAL POLICY
National problems have a pan-Armenian impact. They evoke
the unitary position of Armenia and the Diaspora. In this historical phase of our nation, the foundations
The strategic strategies listed below are of paramount importance. A) The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
In order to resolve the conflict with Azerbaijan, a plan will be developed
and based on the following principles:
1° A mutual concession on the part of the Armenians (Armenia
and Nagorno-Karabakh), cannot be conceived without taking into account the
referendums of 1991 and 2006, respectively date of independence
and the adoption of the Constitution of Nagorno-Karabakh, which express
the will of the people. 2° Nagorno-Karabakh, the main part of the conflict, must be present
on the negotiating table, as a full member. In
as far as Armenia is concerned, it must ensure national security
and vouch for the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. In addition, it is essential to put in place a strategic agreement
between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. 3° In terms of foreign policy, it will be necessary to strengthen
the steps taken for international recognition
of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and ensure the continuation of
negotiations with Azerbaijan, with the aim of giving priority
to the resolution of problems linked to the national security of the
Nagorno-Karabakh. B) Armenian-Turkish relations
The development of the normalization of relations between Armenia
and Turkey will only take on its full dimension from the moment
or Ankara will be ready to recognize the Armenian genocide,
to understand the question of reparations and to put an end to
its anti-Armenian policy orchestrated in complicity with Baku. Currently, in this historical period, the process of
normalization of bilateral relations without preconditions
is the only concession that Armenia must make. 1- The lifting of the blockade without prior conditions and the establishment
diplomatic relations based on international principles,
should be the starting points for the normalization of relations. 2- Armenia’s foreign policy will have to face the plans
anti-Armenians, led by Azerbaijan and Turkey. The conditions presented by Turkey are unacceptable. We must separate the question of Armenian-Turkish relations from the conflict
of Nagorno-Karabakh. This will allow us to continue the fight for
resolution of the Armenian cause. No protocol should be signed which calls into question the Treaty
of Sèvres. With a view to restoring all our rights and
claims, international recognition and compensation
of genocide must be part of the policy
exterior of Armenia. We must exclude all steps that weaken the process
of international recognition of the genocide, by neutralizing the
denialist policy of the Turkish state. C) Djavakhk
Establishment of Armenian-Georgian friendly relations is
conditioned by the protection and respect of their right to
Georgian citizens, of Armenian origin, in matters of security,
political and sociocultural. The determination towards autonomy of the Armenian population of
Javakhk is legal and justified within the framework of obligations and
international conventions ratified by Georgia, towards
minorities. At the same time, it is essential to expand the programs
cultural, economic, social and to strengthen links with
Armenia. D) The Diaspora
Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh and the Diaspora form one entity
unitary of the Armenian nation. To affirm the potential of this
entity and achieve our national objectives, it is essential
to ensure a higher level of national coordination. It’s
only through our national unity can we face the
pressures exerted by our border neighbors and the powers
world, as well as by the conservation of our national identity
and by the restoration of our rights. It is, moreover, essential to create favorable conditions
to the real operational implementation of the law on double
nationality. SOCIO-ECONOMIC PROBLEMS
National unity, which is essential for the resolution of our
fundamental national problems, is based on equalities and
social freedoms. The main goal of Dachnaktsoutioun is to found an egalitarian state
on a social level, based on democratic principles. During this process, the priorities and objectives of the Party are
the following:
Eradication of poverty and improvement of living standards
of the population
Establishment of the necessary funds for the construction of HLM
Allocation of birth allowances and family allowances
Reorganization of the social security operating system
Access to public education, at the international level
Access to sports and cultural education free of charge
Right to work for all and remuneration based on work
carried out. Implementation of a specific policy aimed at eliminating
economic monopolies. Establishment of a strategy for the exploitation of resources
natural resources and prohibition of their overexploitation. Establishment of a system of private property rights. INTERNAL POLICY
In order to achieve the process of democratization, it is essential
to get out of the plutocratic system. The main directions of
this process are as follows:
Legislative and constitutional reforms. Strengthening legislative power
Reduction in the number of seats in the National Assembly and
limitation of parliamentary immunities. Total independence of the judicial system. Deepening of the European integration process. Establishment of a special unit against corruption, under the
leadership of the opposition. Guarantee the maintenance of freedom of expression and opinion. Right of opposition, ensured by law. Reform of the electoral system. Citizen participation in elections must be compulsory. Õ~FÔ±Ô½
