A Olenbourg (Allemagne) samedi 1er mai, l’Arménien Garo Mourad (26
ans), détenteur du titre « WBO Intercontinental » des mi-lourds de
boxe professionnelle remettait en jeu son titre face à Tommy Karpenis.
Au terme du combat en 12 rounds, Garo Mourad a conservé son titre aux
points. Les trois arbitres ayant donné l’avantage à l’Arménien. Garo
Mourad, né en Irak et installé en Allemagne, est à ce jour invaincu au
terme de ses 22 combats professionnels (dont 13 par K.O.).
