International boxing tournament organized by National Olympic Committee
President Gagik Tsarukyan will be held in Yerevan starting April 6
under the auspices of Armenian Boxing Federation. The tournament is
included in the 2010 Calendar of European Union Boxing Confederation
(EUBC).
Sportsmen from 13 countries – Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Gambia,
Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia,
Ukraine and Uzbekistan sent entries for the participation. However,
to date, the final list of participants involves sportsmen from 9
countries, as Mongolian, Gambian, Uzbek and Macedonian teams will
not attend. The overall number of participants reached 160, including
113 boxers.
