In the Croatian city Rieca continues the European chess tournaments
for men and women. In the 4 round of the men’s tournament the
representatives of Armenia had only 4 victories.
Unfortunately the leaders couldn’t keep the upper places because of the
defeats and draws. The highest results were for Robert Hovhannisyan,
Gabriel Sargsyan, Hrant Melkumyan, Tigran L. Petrosyan and Samvel
Ter-Sahakyan who have received 3 points each and concede Jobava and
Efimenko, who are in the second position, with 1-2 points.
In the tournament for women Lilit Galoyan is having excellent games
and now with half points concedes only Monika Sochko who is the only
participant who has 100% result.
