ARMENIA’S GDP GROWS 2.4% TO AMD 149.5 BILLION IN JAN 2010

YEREVAN, February 20. /ARKA/. Armenia’s GDP reached AMD 149.5 billion
by late January 2010, after growing 2.4% this month, compared with
the same month a year before, National Statistical Service of Armenia
reports.
January’s GDP is 60.5% less than that of December 2009. The country
recorded 14.1% economic decline in 2009. GDP growth is planned at 1.2%
in the 2010 state budget. ($1 = AMD 381.58).
