ARMENIAN MEDIAN WAGE IN 2010 JANUARY GROWS BY 8.8% YEAR-ON-YEAR TO 101,704 DRAMS

YEREVAN, February 19, /ARKA/. Armenian median wage in 2010 January grew
by 8.8% from a year before to 101,704 Drams, the National Statistical
Service reported.

The public sector median wage rose by 12.3% year-on-year to 86,499
Drams, but when compared to 2009 December, it fell by 22.2%

In private sector it grew 5.2% year-on-year to 123,966 Drams, but
fell by 22.3% when compared to 2009 December 2009.

In 2010 the median Armenian wage fell by 22.3% against 2009 December.

($1 – 381.58 Drams).
