DGP SLUMPED 7% IN CIS COUNTRIES IN 2009

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The Gross Domestic Product slumped 7% in member
countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2009, according
to the data provided by CIS Statistical Committee.
The worst index was registered in Armenia (14.4% slump). 7.9% slump
was fixed in Russia; 7.8% in Georgia; 1.5% in Kazakhstan; 7.7% in
Moldova; 15.9% in Ukraine (third quarter data).
GDP growth was fixed in Azerbaijan (9.3%); Belarus (0.2%); Kyrgyzstan
(2.8%), Tajikistan (3.4%) and Uzbekistan (8.1%).
Inflation was 8% throughout the Commonwealth, with the highest
index registered in Ukraine (12.3%). 10,1% inflation was fixed in
Belarus; 8.8% in Russia; 7.4% in Uzbekistan; 6.5% in Armenia; 6.2%
in Kazakhstan; 5% in Tajikistan; 0.7% in Azerbaijan; 0.4% in Moldova
and 0% in Kyrgyzstan. Georgia saw a 2.1% deflation.
