US CONGRESSMEN TO DISCUSS RESOLUTION ON GENOCIDE

The U.S. Congressmen are going to discuss a Resolution on Genocide –
mass killings of Armenian population in Turkey in 1915s. The hearing
will launch on March 4, chairman of the Armenian National Committee
of America, Ken Khachikian, told journalists.
According to Ken Khachikian, U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee
Chairman Howard L. Berman is reported to take a vote on Resolution
252 on Armenian Genocide.
Spokespersons for the U.S. Embassy in Armenia haven’t yet commented
the announcement.
