Yerevan (Yerkir) – Italy’s MIDIASET TV has been screening a series of
documentaries about Armenia every Sunday morning, beginning November
22, in its "Limits of Soul" program.
The channel has already screened eight 20-minute films titled
"Armenia," "Armenia, la storia continua a Venezia" (Armenia: the story
continues in Venezia), "Armenia, quale futuro?" (Armenia: what’s
the future?), "Armenia, il grande male" (Armenia: the great evil),
"Armenia, una chiesa un popolo" (Armenia: one church, one nation),
"Armenia, monasteri" (Armenia: the monasteries), "Storico accordo"
(A historical accord), "Armenia: la terra delle pietre urlanti"
(Armenia: the country of crying stones).
The documentaries depict Armenia as a country with an ancient Christian
legacy. It covers the black pages of the Armenian history (national
liberation struggle, genocide), and refers to church-building, music,
architecture and Armenia’s history after gaining independence.
The film can be viewed on the website of the MEDIASET TV Company at
