SITTING OF THE ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMITTEE ON MILITARY-TECHNICAL COOPERATION IN YEREVAN

The recurrent 4th sitting of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental
committee of the military-technical cooperation took place in Yerevan
from the 14th to 17th of December.
The sitting was presided over by the co-chairs of the committee,
Armenian Deputy Minister of Defense Alik Mirzabekyan and the deputy
director of the Russian federal service of military-technical
cooperation Konstantin Biryulin. Participants of the sitting discussed
issued related to the further development of the Armenian-Russian
military and military-technical cooperation.
On the sidelines of the sitting, the Armenian Minister of Defense,
Seyran Ohanya,n and the deputy director of the Russian federal service
of military-technical cooperation, Konstantin Biryulin, signed an
agreements on "Interaction between the Governments of the Republic of
Armenia and the Russian Federation while exporting goods of military
importance to a third country."
Seyran Ohanyan underlined that the signing the agreements between the
Armenian and Russian Governments was of great importance for fostering
the Armenian-Russian military cooperation and would contribute to
the strengthening of the fighting capacity of the two countries.
