FORMER DF OFFICIAL IS ACCUSED OF NATIONAL BETRAYAL

The press service of the RA Ministry of Defense informs that an
Armenian citizen G. Hayrapetyan, a former Defense Ministry official,
in April 2009 joined the Azerbaijani Special Services and as instructed
handed them secret information about the RA military forces as well as
information to carry out anti-Armenian propaganda. The last instruction
from the Azerbaijani side, Hayrapetyan got in September 2009. Besides,
during a search in Hayrapetyan’s apartment, illegal weapons were also
found. The case has been sent to the Yerevan Avan and Nork-Marash
court of general jurisdiction.
