YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS: "ArmProd Expo 2009" ninth
international exhibition opened today in Yerevan, organized
by "Agribusiness Development Center", Armenian Ministries of
Agriculture and Foreign Affairs, Yerevan municipality and Armenian
Trade-Industrial Palace. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Territorial
Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan and Armenian Deputy Minster
of Agriculture Samvel Avetisyan were present at the opening. Spirits,
juices, fruit-vegetable conserves, sweets, meat and dairy produce,
dried fruits, coffee, cigarettes, polygraph production and packaging
materials have been presented at the exposition.

Director of "Agribusiness Development Center" Armen Davtyan said
at the interview with journalists that all the developments of food
production are revealed every year at this exposition. This year more
international companies have presented their products over the last
year. Overall 64 companies participate in the exposition, 15 of which
are international companies. Producers of Belarus, Austria, Germany,
Russia and England have presented their products.

"The main goal of the expo is to present the best products of food

Davtyan noted that the exposition promotes establishment of ties

According to Samvel Avetisyan, the exposition is a fine opportunity of

times that international organizations participate. They have greatly
contributed to the development of agro-processing system", he said.

Workshops, round tables will be conducted within the frameworks of
