Representative on Nagorno-Karabakh and Georgia of OSCE Parliamentary
Assembly Goran Lennmarker has been postponed until 2010, head of the
Armenian delegation in OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, RA NA deputy Aram
Safaryan told a PanARMENIN.Net reporter. According to Aram Safaryan,
during the visit of Goran Lenmaraker was to meet with the foreign
ministers and MPs of Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

watch 12 local TV Channels by connecting to 3G network. Within the
upcoming month, the service will be free of charge. We plan to broaden
the network of transmitted channels since Mobile TV is an innovation
for Armenian market," VivaCell-MTS General Director Ralp Yirikyan said.

At that he noted that company launched 3G on April 17 for providing
broader access to mobile Internet. Since October 29. the network
has been accessible in 47 towns and big regional centers of Armenia,
Yirikyan said.

"The second service is "Home-Zone" or "Internet and More" which
enables subscribers to connect to unlimited wireless Internet,
creating an internal network, as well as provides access to stationary
telephone. To use the service subscribers need special routers
available in all VivaCell-MTS. Annual subscription fee makes up AMD
90 thousand.

To connect to Home-Zone subscribers are required to insert their SIM
car into the router and switch it on. This makes mobile communication
accessible within a radius of 80 to 100 metres," said Yirikyan.

Per minute conversation price comprises AMD 5 within Home-zone network,
AMD 35 – within VivaCell network and AMD 35 – for outgoing calls to
other mobile operators.

The third service – enabling subscribers to get MTS connect modem for
free and envisaging reduced prices on Internet – will be available
in company’s offices in case of signing 1-year contract or paying
AMD 20 thousand.

"In case of annual subscription to unlimited Internet, price for 7.2
Mbit/sec Internet will comprise AMD 8800. Company will also reduce
tariffs for prepaid subscribers, providing them with 1 Gb. package
at AMD 7900, 5 Gb. package – at AMD 9900 and 15 Gb. package – at
AMD 19900."

Armenia’s leading mobile operator VivaCell-MTS provides a wide range
of services of voice mail and date transfer. It operates on the entire
territory of Armenia and possesses GSM 900/1800 licensevalid until the
end of 2019. Russian Telesystems (MTS) is 80% shareholder of VivaCell.

the situation in the country, Vardan Ayvazyan , head of NA Standing
Committee on Economic Affairs, member of the Republican faction told
a press conference in Yerevan.

According to him, the whole structure of the 2010 budget does not
differ from the previous year’s budget. "There is a decline in
the budget revenues, which, of course, is the result of the global
financial and economic crisis," head of the parliamentary committee
said.

Vardan Ayvazyan assured that in respect of the social sphere the
government tried to adhere to the policy it announced and keep the
degree of responsibility at the same level.

of Armenia Artur Bagdasaryan November 12 met with Deputy Secretary
of the National Security Council of Belarus Stanislav Zas, currently
on official visit to Armenia.

The officials discussed cooperation between the two countries in the
framework of CSTO, as well as issues concerning relations between
Security Councils of Armenia and Belarus. Cooperation within CSTO is
actively developing, Arthur Baghdasaryan said. The officials stressed
that under the signed memorandum the cooperation between the Security
Council of Armenia and Belarus is frutfully developing, practical
steps are taken to deepen the relations in the military-industrial
sphere. They discussed the possibility of establishing joint ventures
in this sphere, touched upon implementation of joint programs of
mutual assistance.

After the meeting the Belarusian delegation visited the
military-industrial enterprises of Armenia, familiarized with their

and Armenia in Zurich on October 10 was not included in agenda of
the Turkish parliament’s foreign relations commission", Ankara-based
member of Turkish parliament from AKP, member of the parliament’s
foreign relations commission Zeynep Daghi told APA Turkish bureau.

She said she was unaware whether they had to wait for foreign
ministry’s allowance to send protocols to the commission. "I can’t
say anything about that. I know only that the protocols are not on
the commission’s agenda".

Turkish parliament sent the Zurich protocols to the foreign relations
commission on October 21.

"Ratification of the protocols signed by Turkey and Armenia in Zurich
on October 10 does stand on agenda of the Turkish parliament’s foreign
relations commission," member of Turkish parliament from AKP, member
of the parliament’s foreign relations commission Zeynep Daghi said.

"I know for sure that protocols are not on the commission’s agenda,"
she said.

Turkish parliament sent the the Turkey-Armenia protocols to the
foreign relations commission on Oct. 21.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin and
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said the protocols wouldn’t be
ratified at the parliament until Armenia withdraws troops from
Azerbaijan’s occupied lands.

connection to regular citizens, Armen Martirosyan , chair of the
"Heritage" party and member its parliamentary faction told a press
conference in Yerevan today. According to him, the state budget
envisages reduction in the social spending.

In addition, Mr. Martirosyan expressed concern about the decrease in
defense sphere in 2010 and increased costs to maintain public order.

"State Budget-2010 will provide the defense ministry 116 billion AMD,
while in 2009 that figure was only 146 billion AMD. In the current
situation, security issues need more attention, he said.

South Caucasus Railways CJSC General Director Shevket N. Shaydullin
addressed RA Government to grant the company the national enterprise
status. According to Shaydullin, it will enable the company to join
international organizations and equally compete with the railway
companies in neighboring states. It will also give an opportunity to
attract new investments.

"Rapid developments in the South Caucasus, particularly border
opening and the prospects of Iran-Armenia railway construction
might dramatically change domestic and foreign economic situation
of Armenia. In addition, it will signify the role of railway in
country’s political and economic life. Under certain developments,
Armenian railway should be considered transit for Europe-Asia and
North-South international transport corridor," stated Shaydullin.

cent, which is quite a negative index," Permanent Representative
of International Monetary Fund in Armenia Nienke Oomes told a press
conference in Yerevan.

However, she stressed that 18.3 per cent decline in GDP is greatly
conditioned by recession in the construction industry.
