The issue of opening the Turkish- Armenian border will remain closed
until Armenia withdraws from occupied Azeri territory, Turkish
Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic said.

"Turkey has openly informed the world on what condition the border
could be opened. This condition is the liberation of Azerbaijan’s
occupied territory," the Turkish ambassador told the press on Tuesday.

"Turkey has made the necessary steps, reaching the middle of the way.

Now it’s Armenia’s turn to take its steps," Kilic said in comments
on ratification by the Turkish parliament of the protocols on the
establishment of diplomatic relations between Ankara and Yerevan,
signed in Zurich on October 10.

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Director of Armenia’s Khosrov reserve, 51-year-old
Samvel Shaboyan was assassinated on the night of November 19 .

Police said Shoboyan’s Toyota Prado was shelled by unknown. Law
enforcers counted 30 bullet holes in the car. Shoboyan, who was
sitting on the backseat, died from numerous bullet wounds.

A criminal case was initiated.

Earlier, Shaboyan told journalists about the threats from local
poachers.

Conflicts addressed by the OSCE should be resolved in the previously
agreed upon format, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in
response to a question posed by Trend News during a news conference
in Moscow today.

"These conflicts, such as Nagorno-Karabakh, Transdniester and Kosovo
should be resolved in the previously adopted format," he said.

"Kazakhstan as the organization’s chairman will take a responsible
approach to this problem."

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988
when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Armenian
armed forces have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan since 1992,
including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and 7 surrounding districts.

Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The
co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group – Russia, France, and the U.S. –
are currently holding the peace negotiations.

presented November 19 at the NASDAQ OMX Armenia’s office in Yerevan.

The guide was prepared by the British Irving International Limited
company under "Workshops for Business and Economic Journalism" with
support of the British Embassy in Armenia. Experts of Internews NGO
participated in the preparation of the guide.

According to the executive director of Internews Nune Sargsyan, a
guide for journalists has been created through a series of workshops
to raise awareness of media representatives in the field of economics
and finance.

According to the British Ambassador in Armenia Charles Lonsdale
the UK is interested in promoting educated media in Armenian, which
contribute to the development of the society.
