RA CRIME INDEX INCREASES BY 65% IN 2009

October 2009, said Hunan Poghosyan, head of organized crime combating
department of the RA Police.
"The number of drug-related crimes has increased by 65% and totaled
826. At that, 53% of the crimes were committed in Yerevan," he said.
