GERMAN PILGRIMS VISITED THE ARMENIAN PATRIARCH OF ISTANBUL

On October 19 a group of 28 German evangelical pilgrims visited the
Armenian Patriarch of Istanbul where they were greeted by chairman
of the Religious Assembly Archbishop Aram Ateshyan.
As reported by the Armenian "Lraber" periodical of Turkey, the
guests are in Istanbul to visit the religious institutions of ethnic
minorities. In the meeting with Aram Ateshyan, the guests were
interested in the role of the Patriarch, the Armenian community,
Christian life in Turkey in the relations between churches.
