DELEGATION OF SOCHI PAYS VISIT TO ARMENIA

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, NOYAN TAPAN. A delegation headed by Chairman
of the Sochi city duma (council) Valery Podpomogov has arrived in
Yerevan to participate in PanArmenia Expo 2009.
It was stated during the meeting at the Yerevan Municipality that
the exhibition is a means of fostering the economic cooperation which
has a solid legal basis, the press service of Municipality reported.
Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglarian and Valery Podpomogov clarified the
agenda of cooperation at the meeting. G. Beglarian considered Sochi’s
city governance experience efficient, meaning the similarity in
everyday life and mentality of the Armenian and Russian peoples.
