AMERIABANK FORECASTS 10-15% INDEX GROWTH

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Ameriabank forecasts 10-15% increase of all its
indexes, particularly credit portfolio, Ameriabank’s corporate banking
director Levon Arevshatyan told journalists. "In the third quarter
on 2009, the bank’s credit portfolio increased by 44%, comprising AMD
43 million," he said, adding such index enabled Ameriabank to become
one of Armenia’s leading 3 banks.
Besides, he mentioned that the bank plans to fix 10-15% growth by
year end. "I hope we’ll end the current year with a take-off growth,"
he said.
As of September 30, 2009, corporate loans comprise 84% or AMD 37
billion of the bank’s credit portfolio. Besides, loans paid to natural
person have this year increased by 26%.
