Updated Madrid Document May Extend Negotiations

UPDATED MADRID DOCUMENT MAY EXTEND NEGOTIATIONS

The updated version of Madrid document can extend the process of
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution. We could conclude the above
mentioned statement following Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s
interview to Russian "Vesti" TV programme.

Talking about the political physical guarantees of Nagorno-Karabakh
security, President said: "The Presidents of co-chair states assigned
their representatives to introduce to us the up-dated version of
Madrid document. And if the up-dated version corresponds to the mission
and principles of Madrid document, it would be better. I mean if the
document covers the results of our discussions but if it is called
Madrid document but does not correspond to its mission then I guess
the process will be extended. Well, we’ll see."
