ARMENIAN INDUSTRY DECLINES BY 11.5%

Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS published H1 2009
totals. According to them, industrial production in CIS declined by 15%
and consumer prices increased by 13%. The slump is recorded in Ukraine,
unlike Uzbekistan that experiences economic boom.
Ukraine rates first by industrial output decline -31.1% compared to
H1 2009.
Moldova is ranked second with 24.9%, Kyrgyzstan -17.9%, Russia – 14.8%,
Tajikistan-13.3%, Armenia-11.5% and Kazakhstan-2.7% respectively.
